Through her association with Elliot, she had the privilege of working on movie scores and projects for Quincy Jones. She currently performs in the tri-state area with her partner, David Oliver, and many of the best musicians the New York and Connecticut area has to offer. She and her band opened for Grammy Award Winner, Dianne Reeves. David Oliver - Pianist, David spent many years as a studio musician in Nashville, Tennessee where he performed with Ella Fitzgerald, Brenda Lee, Gladys Knight, etc. He moved to New York City in the 80s where he spent many years as an accompanist and arranger for various cabaret acts. He currently performs in the tri-state area, as well as teaching privately in Greenwich and Westchester. Roger Post - Drummer, Band Leader Roger is a highly sought-after drummer/percussionist whose 52 years of experience have encompassed an incredible variety of styles and music. Big bands: New Haven Jazz Orchestra, Harold Zinno Big Band, Hartford Jazz Orchestra, Berkshire Big Band, Sonny Carroll Orchestra, Fairfield Counts, Rob Zappulla Orchestra, Bensen/Scott Big Band. Jazz Concerts with Bill Watrous, Marvin Stamm, Marshall McDonald, Houston Person, Bill Crow Broadway: 42nd St. (original), Ain’t Misbehavin’ (revival w/original cast), Cats, Saturday Night Fever, Falsettos, and Godspell revival. Jeff Fuller - Jazz & Latin Bass - Jeff is an integral part of the Connecticut, New York, and international jazz scenes, Fuller has toured worldwide and recorded with saxophonists Lou Donaldson and Paquito D’Rivera. He has played with jazz masters from all styles and eras including such diverse artists as Dizzy Gillespie, Mose Allison, “Papa” Jo Jones, Gerry Mulligan, and Clark Terry. Fuller is one of the most sought-after jazz bassists in Connecticut and currently leads his own ensembles in many venues. In 2014, he was presented with the annual Jazz Haven Award, “For all, you have done in presenting and preserving the culture and music of jazz.” Fuller plays a custom-made Upton Concord double bass, and a Ken Smith 6-string bass guitar. Fuller has wide experience in both Afro-Cuban and Brazilian music. He has toured with Paquito D’Rivera’s New York/Havana Quintet, the Hilton Ruiz Quintet, Daniel Ponce's Jazzbatá and Orlando “Puntilla” Rios’ Nueva Generación. He composes and arranges for the top salsa group, Irazú, whose CDs have featured soloists Arturo Sandoval and Tata Güines. Fuller's Latin jazz big band and combo arrangements are frequently performed worldwide and are published by 3-2 Music, the predominant distributor of written Latin jazz. He is co-leader of the popular group, Sambeleza, which features singer/pianist Isabella Mendes and guitarist Joe Carter. His earlier Brazilian jazz group, Samba Brasil, was a seven-time winner of the "Best Latin" category in the Hartford Advocate Reader’s Poll. We're sorry, there are no refunds after tickets have been purchased. In the event of a pandemic, rain, snow, or other forms of weather which prohibit a performance, the performance date will be postponed and rescheduled for another date within a reasonable amount of time. If the new date is postponed, a future alternate date will be picked at the discretion of Bethel Jazz and the musical artist. The ticket holder will be notified of postponements, cancelations, and rescheduled dates via email. Tickets are non-refundable and may be transferred to another person in the event a purchaser can not make the rescheduled date. In the event, an artist cancels a date, and Bethel Jazz is unable to reschedule the artist, Bethel Jazz reserves the right to provide a substitute performer of equal quality without notice to the ticket purchaser. If a date is canceled and not rescheduled, Bethel Jazz will provide a refund (in some cases minus the Eventbrite fee) or credit for another performance at the choice of the ticket holder. Bethel Jazz will always do its best to accommodate for changes in seating, table sizes, or changes to tickets.
