Epic Events Tech Crew 2022 Position Description Summary Join the Epic Events outdoor movie team. We are currently looking for an experienced Audio-Visual Technician to join our 2022 Crew on Saturdays and some Fridays from late June through August to work outdoor movie events. Additional spring events and other days of the week may be available. Duties include loading / unloading trucks, setting up and operating projectors, audio mixers/speakers for small bands and movie events. When Dates: Mostly July and August but additional dates may be available depending on schedules and willingness to travel to the Seattle area. Hours: Part-time depending on event schedules. Days: Bellingham area events usually take place on Fridays and Saturdays. Seattle area gigs have possible opportunities from Tuesday through Saturday. Times: Typical shifts are from late afternoon to midnight or later. Requirements: Must be physically fit and strong. This job requires heavy lifting and loading of large equipment. Must be responsible, friendly and able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be willing to commit to scheduled events and show up on-time. Must be professional and able work with a variety of clients at events. Experience running projectors, audio mixers and AV gear in a profession environment strongly preferred. Good driving record and ability to drive a van, 16-ft box truck or pick-up and trailer if necessary. Pay-scale $25 - $30+ per hour depending on experience, qualifications and availability.
