You’ll learn draping, positioning, and specific techniques to help you design a protocol for your pregnant clientele. This two day course (April 2nd and 3rd;12pm to 4pm) presents Licensed massage therapists with opportunities to explore the practical and theoretical side of a specialized massage protocol. This particular population(pregnant people) benefits greatly from a solid therapeutic massage that is more than a light lotion application. Students will participate in hands-on draping, positioning, sequence and timing of a 90 minute massage routine. Myths, misconceptions and contraindications are covered as well as the mind-body connection.
