ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — The California Highway Patrol is investigating a solo-car crash that left one person dead early Thursday morning. The wreck was reported at about 1:30 a.m. in the 11,000 block of Dublin Canyon Road in Pleasanton, according to the Pulsepoint phone application. A vehicle struck a power pole, according to the CHP.
