Celebrating & Renewing our Sisterhood
15 Years of CWUW
CWUW is celebrating 15 years serving women and their families and our 2022 brunch will be an event filled with memorable experiences and honoring the work of women who lead the way in helping women to take the lead in managing and improving their health.
CWUW programming is based on promoting and maintaining The 7 dimensions of Wellness: (physical, emotional, spiritual, environmental, occupational, social, and intellectual wellness). Traditional and alternative therapies and programs build social capital, community, and every aspect of health. Developing a culture of health and well-being is the goal.

How do we empower women and their families? Through individual and community-based programs, CWUW engages women in learning how to improve their health by recognizing and addressing social determinants
Chan'tay suffers from a rare blood disease, sickle cell. Through all of her physical issues, she has in such an empowering way, funneled her energy into helping the community from food drives, blanket drives, back to school events, helping the poor. She also has a bi-weekly affirmation call in for positive reinforcement and sisterhood. Titled Crown which was started by Chan'tay, is the organization that filters all of her community work.
