This is a class, led by Katherine Donnelly, to help equip parents with various tools to engage in this conversation with their students.
This is a class to equip you as parents on the topic of mental health. Maybe your student is currently struggling with depression, anxiety, or some other form of mental health struggle? Maybe your student is sharing about a friend who has their own struggles? In 2020 alone rates of depression and anxiety climbed globally by more than 25%, according to a new study. Our heart in this class is to equip you as parents with how to engage in the conversation! It will give you tools, as well as be a safe place with other parents to engage in this topic with Christ at the center.
Parenting, as you know, is best when it is from a place of being proactive, not simply reactive. So even if your child does not relate to these struggles I encourage you to be proactive in leaning into the conversation. If you feel like it's "too late". It's not! Jesus is in the discussion and desires wholeness for your student and family.
Katherine Donnelly will be leading the class each week and has put together some awesome content for us all. Click HERE to read her bio to learn more about her experience and history with working with families relating to mental health.
