PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton voters are casting ballots for four candidates seeking to replace Mayor Jerry Thorne as he nears his term limit after serving four two-year terms. The candidates are: Karla Brown, Pleasanton city councilmember and businesswoman; Monith Ilavarasan, product manager; Jerry Pentin, Pleasanton city councilmember and businessman; and Tom Turpel, digital marketing manager. Former candidate Druthi Ghanta has withdrawn from the race, but will still appear on the ballot.
