Help make a difference in the appearance of several islands along Evans Road. You drive it, you see it, you think about now help change it. We need volunteers on Saturday April 23rd from 8am to noon. After 20+ years of underbrush growth, trees dying and trash collection the islands along Evans Road are in bad shape. Volunteers will be working along Evans Road just west of Bulverde Road to Tejeda Middle School. The activities from volunteers include under brush removal with clippers and trimmers, raking up debris, picking up trash, cutting down dead trees and mulching of trees and branches. The city of San Antonio will provide mulch to place around trees. The city will also remove bagged trash and un-mulched tree trunks and branches.
