Creative, interactive and thought-provoking conversations with BLACK WOMEN to create tools that can help strengthen OUR COMMUNITY! We are facilitating this creative, interactive, and thought-provoking conversation with 100 BLACK WOMEN in OUR COMMUNITY. Our objective is to create tools to help US do the WORK to help sustain a community that has lost it's way. We are using 3 signigicant prongs most relevant to the under resourced caste members of OUR COMMUNITY; economic inequality, voter suppression, and social justice. We do realize there are other issues plaguing OUR COMMUNITY but this conversation is focuing on the above-mentioned issues. We belive "Caste: The Origins of Our Discontent" helps to answer the "WHY" of these issues, which we believe can be the catalyst that induces ideas of HOW we can start to make systemic changes. This takes collaborative partnerships with people and entities at all levels of the caste system, which leads us to this hands-on conversation.
