We'll harvest Paloverde buds as shown above. We'll also gather wild herbs. Then we'll head over to my home for Sonoran Desert food sampling
We'll meet at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 27. I'll email you the exact meetup location once you have purchased tickets. We'll harvest Paloverde (our State Tree) buds to make Desert Capers. We'll gather some creosote twigs, leaves, and buds for making salve.
Then we'll head over to my home to process the buds and start the first step of salve making. Following this, we'll prepare and sample several Sonoran Desert treats.
Please bring gloves, sturdy shoes, a hat or visor, sunscreen, and plenty of water. The harvesting location will be near a road without a hike to get there.Bring your foraging/wild crafting questions.
