Upon her arrival, she encounters a mysterious trio of strangers investigating a local legend known as “The Blood Moon”a curse that has transformed the inhabitants of the town into a terrifying horde of blood-thirsty maniacs! A Criminally Overlooked Piece of 1970s Strangeness! LADIES NIGHT is a monthly series hosted by Stray Cat programmer Danielle Krakenberg. These films are intentionally picked with a focus on the struggle, rise and triumph of empowered (and sometimes crazy) women. At Ladies Night we will view and analyze the complex dynamics, common tropes and stereotypes of women in genre films and how they’re depicted on the big screen.
