Area Agency on Aging 1-B Applicant Workshop The Area Agency on Aging 1-B (AAA 1-B) will be hosting a mandatory Applicant Workshop on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. The workshop will be held in-person at the Troy Community Center (Troy, MI), with the option to attend virtually. Pre-registration for the Applicant Workshop is required. In-person attendance is strongly suggested, however, due to capacity limitations, in-person participation will be limited to two people per organization. Applicants are encouraged to review the entire Request For Proposals Manual and Operating Standards Manual prior to attending the workshop. Organizations who choose not to participate in the workshop, either in-person or virtually, may not apply for funding for the FY2023 - FY2025 contract cycle. Specific funding amounts allocated for each service will be made available during the workshop. Following the Applicant Workshop, AAA 1-B staff will be available to assist with technical support or to answer questions related to the application process. All questions should be directed to AAA 1-B key program and finance manager(s), Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Please reference the Key Program and Finance Staff Contacts list, found on the AAA 1-B website, for the appropriate contact person.
