Description

Press release from the University of Toledo: March 17, 2022 The UToledo Business Incubator is sponsoring a free and open-to-the-public event that will explore the prototyping process and development on Wednesday, March 23. The goal of prototyping is to create a draft that looks and feels like the finished product. This helps avoid costly errors by allowing you to test your product or service before it is built. The minimum viable product (MVP) or prototype, allows you to identify problems, collect feedback, showcase your idea and refine your design without investing unnecessary time and money into manufacturing and production. UToledo alumnus David Uhlenhake, an Ohio-licensed professional engineer and CEO of RealizAbility, a design and engineering company equipped to advance concepts from prototyping to product launch, will discuss transforming an idea into reality, including the myths of product development and the risks of being misinformed. Networking will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the event scheduled at 6 p.m. in the Nitschke Technology Commercialization Complex Room 2075. Light snacks will be served. To register by Monday, March 21, visit the event's webpage, or for more information, call 419.530.3520. This press release was produced by the University of Toledo.
