Press release from Dayton Public Schools: March 18, 2022 Many have posted that students who meet all the requirements to graduate, but who cannot afford caps and gowns, are being denied the opportunity to participate in graduation. The Dayton Public Schools would never prohibit a student who qualifies for graduation to not participate. If financial assistance for purchasing caps and gowns is needed, the student just needs to contact the principal or the Superintendent's Office.
