This is the real deal - not just another CLscammer or wannabe rockstar schemer making bogus promises to turn you into a celebrity. I am a true professional musician who has been earning my living from full-time music performance for over a decade - no teaching private music lessons or part-time day jobs, but full-time music performance. This means that I know how to book gigs - and not just any gigs, but gigs that pay a living. I’ve performed and booked countless well-paying gigs, for big clients, and in major cities all over the US. I have upcoming paid gigs on the books which require femaleVocals. I need to get the ball rolling ASAP to work up a repertoire that will be a good match for both the gigs and the vocalist. Having been in the business this long, I already know and have worked with a number of professional, local vocalists. This time around, however, I am hoping to find more of a partner and collaborator than a simple hiredGun. What this means is that I would prefer to find someone who will truly enjoy and desire to put in the time working with me to build and solidify a performance repertoire; rather than someone who wants to simply show up for the performances and then disappear. Ideally this means you are the type who wishes to perform music full-time, perhaps even desiring to live the musician’s life, including traveling from gig to gig when necessary. This also means that I am seeking an intelligent individual who can contribute creatively, beyond mere singing talent. Being roommates is certainly not a requirement, but something close to roommate-level, true partnership and collaboration is what I’m aiming for. Yes, this does mean that you could expect to put in some unpaid, but hopefully enjoyable, hours. There is also, however, a possibility for rehearsals that pay. Previous performance experience is preferred, but ultimately it’s the raw vocal talent, intelligence, personality, musicality, and creativity that will land you the spot.
