Job details Salary: Starting from $19 an hour Full-time position: 40 hrs. per week Full Job Description Auto Paint Helper (Starting at $19.00/hour) Entry level, but room for fast advancement and growth within the company. Automotive Paint position is responsible for preparing various auto components for the paint application process. Specific Duties to include: • Prepare auto for the paint application process by: sanding, removal of oils, debris, or imperfections of the raw product, and taping off product and/or components where paint should not be applied. • Apply paint to various auto components using manual spray techniques. • Correct defects on finished product and learn to identify imperfections in the paint application process to avoid future defects. • Install finished painted parts. Required Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age and must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. • Must speak and understand the English Language. • Prior automotive painting experience preferred. All employees, regardless of prior skill, will participate in an advance painting program to learn long-term painting skills. • Must be able to meet physical requirements with or without an accommodation to include: lift, carry, push, pull 50 pounds or more. • Stand and walk for 8 hours per day, consistently work in awkward positions such as bending, squatting. • Must be able to wear a respirator. • Work around dust while wearing proper protective equipment. • Have a current valid WA driver’s license • Supply management with driving record yearly. • Good communication and reporting to work on-time is a requirement, Schedule: • 8 hour shift, Monday through Friday Education: • High school or equivalent (Required) Work Location: • SeaTac, Washington Pay Frequency: • Twice monthly This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: • Dependable • Self-starter • Adaptable/flexible • Detail oriented • Achievement oriented • Attention to detail • Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction
