Seeking committed mature experienced bass player

Meets

Dayton NV

Description

We're forming a band focusing on three-part vocal harmonies, which we have worked on diligently with impressive results, but without a bass, we sound hollow. Our set list includes "Nowhere Man", "You're Gonna Lose That Girl", "No Reply" and "With A Little Help With My Friends" by the Beatles, "Feel A Whole Lot Better" by the Byrds, "Bluebird" and "Nowadays Clancy Can't Even Sing" by Buffalo Springfield, among many other tunes like "Blue On Black" by Kenny Wayne Sheperd and "Bring It On Home" by Sam Cooke. You need to be experienced, talented, committed to the project, able to practice at least once per week (we typically rehearse in Dayton on Tuesday evening and Saturday afternoon to work out arrangements, chord, and lyric charts and vocal parts). We all bring different talents to our sound, but none of us play bass. We have rhythm and lead guitar and drums and percussion, getting close to being stage-ready, and intend to get good-paying gigs once we have our act together, literally. We need a good bass player with a pleasant demeanor to join us in making some great renditions of some great tunes! Please reply via Craigslist to discuss your experience, and interest in this fun and exciting project.
