ISO cherry or ghost shrimp and aquatic plants

I have a 10 gallon aquarium with 1 male Betta fish and 3 mystery snails. I am wanting to add live plants (fake plants now), especially moss for him. I also would like to find some cherry shrimp to watch. My kids want to add another fish and obviously there are few that you can add with a betta, especially male but while researching I have found that cherry or ghost shrimp are safe to have in a tank with a betta. I love to sit and watch the aquarium, so peaceful, and so do my kids. I can meet in Waukee or the DSM area. I would rather work with someone local than buy them online (shrimp or plants).
