First Court is looking for 25 enthusiastic, talkative, descriptive and opinionated yet fair-minded people from Harris County, TX to participate in a Private Jury Trial, taking place online via Zoom. This trial will be held on Friday, April 15th from 9am - 5pm Central. We are paying $175 for participation. Participants MUST have a computer / laptop with a webcam and high speed internet. Sorry, but Smartphones and IPads do NOT WORK FOR THIS PROJECT. Candidates who are fairly tech savvy are preferred. We need people who can listen to lawyers' arguments and witnesses and then tell us what they think. The objective of the project is to get honest feedback on the facts of a real lawsuit case by individuals in the area where the case originated.
