The owners Tony & Karissa scam their employees by paying them cash so that they don’t have to pay taxes, & they don’t use permits to fix up the houses they buy at auctions, which are destroyed properties, they do the bare minimum to fix these mold/ rat/ cockroach/ poisonous spider/ rattlesnake infested homes, then they rent to needy people double what the rent should actually be, & they make their tenants pay rent by way of money order to the company Florida Homes 4 Rent which literally changes its name every time someone calls them out on their scams. Anytime a tenant complains about mold issues or the unfairness of how the owners of the company treat them, they immediately evict these people claiming some other party sold the property, when there are no other parties involved. The owners which are Tony Thomas & Karissa Pendl. They have made millions off scamming well meaning people. Do not rent from them & do not try to work for them. They abuse their workers verbally, make them work in completely inhumane conditions & make them work 9 hours & pay them for 7 hours at 12-13 dollars an hour. They used to go by Florida Property Management & now go by Florida Homes 4 Rent. The court of County Clerks are somewhat aware of the scams they pull, but these professional scam artists continue to get away with egregious illegal scams, all while they make millions of dollars to sit at home all day.
