Billy Joel wannabe looking to form Mostly Originals Band

Description

I play the guitar, not the piano, but I've written several good, melodic songs and I'd love to see them realize their full potential. It's a great feeling to watch a song you've written come to life in new ways with other musicians. I've had it happen with a few of my songs. Check out "Down the Stream" and "Haight Street" here- https://open.spotify.com/artist/3GYcnFHXGmfIqksJlwWGTV or here https://therovingeyes.bandcamp.com/album/2017-2020 ( my vocals should have been buried more on "Haight Street" ). The songs I have in mind have a few more chords than either of those songs, and one has a really big chorus. I like to rock out, as well, but the softer, melodic stuff feels like a good starting point. If you're a keyboardist and have written some good songs, I'm open to working on some of those too. I also love a lot of Elton John's songs, and so many other singer songwriters from the 60s and 70s, and The Beatles, of course. Looking for a rhythm section, keyboardist and/or second guitarist, and maybe a sax player or flutist. Let me know something about your experience level and some of your favorite Billy Joel or Elton songs ( some of my favorites are "James," I've Loved These Days," Vienna," Rosalinda's Eyes," All For Leyna," Los Angelenos," Big Shot," Daniel," Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters," and "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" ).
