COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — Public data sources along with millions of reviews from students, parents, and residents have amalgamated into Niche.com's 2020 "Best Places To Live" report card.
Niche has come out with its new 2020 rankings of the "Best Places to Live" in New Jersey, but for at least the fourth year in row, it took a bit of a unique approach: The consumer rankings service assigned a grade, on an A+-to-D- scale, to almost every town in the state.
Overall, Collingswood ranked an A with individual breakouts as follows:
Public Schools: A-Crime & Safety: C+Housing: C+Nightlife: A+Good for Families: ADiversity: A-Jobs: B-Weather: B-Cost of Living: C+Health & Fitness: B+Outdoor Activities: ACommute: A-Niche said that their Data Team uses advanced algorithms and statistical techniques to compare, normalize, and connect millions of data points to thoroughly analyze U.S. schools and neighborhoods.
"Our Research Team combines user feedback and insights with industry standards to determine the key components that should make up our various grades," they said on their website. "Niche report cards are designed to capture what schools and neighborhoods are really like."
