TuN is an established originals group of professional musicians. Our Vocalist has left the state and we're looking for potentially two talented vocalists with a similar skill set to step in. The style would be along the lines of Mary J Blige, Chaka Khan, Aretha, Adele, Amy Winehouse, Bonnie Raitt. We're looking for a Mezzo range. Check out 'You Got The Love' by Rufus and Chaka Khan? While it's a difficult song vocally, the ability to sing it (well) with power and confidence, is a requirement for this group, as one of the few covers we preform. We do get compensated for most performances, but this band is for fun and about music and musical family, above all. We spend 90 percent of our time rehearsal time (twice/month) collaborating to create melodic tunes with grooves that infect the soul - When folks get up and dance to a new original song they've never heard, you know you've created something special.
