With freedom comes responsibility and that is something that we have not done with gun owners. Guns have cost this country many lives needlessly. Everyday 22 children are shot 6 of them die. Everyday we have shootings where multiple people are shot. The true cost of guns is staggering. Every year gun owners should be made to register and insure their weapons just like cars. We can use that money to offset part of the damage done by guns. Guns cost this country billions ever year not to mention the thousands of lives lost to senseless gun violence. Gun owners must pay and we need to make them responsible when their gun is used in a crime and I mean serious prison time.
