Need bassist for summer gigging and beyond. This rock band plays festivals, city gigs, and special events - not really a bar band, unless it's a very nice venue. You will learn a dozen very sexy originals, a dozen Tull tunes, and eventually a handful of rocking party tunes (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Stones, STP, Soundgarden, Blue Oyster Cult, etc.). You will be paid an hourly rate for rehearsals and recording and a competitive fee for live performance. About you: You understand how to practice on your own and meet up for group rehearsal and to work on "the show." You are competent with your instrument, have a good work ethic, want to perform live and record, party on your own time, and understand how to be a part of a business.
