Established NYC dance & show band in search of a like minded piano, rhodes, wurlitzer, and hammond organ player / collaborator for gigs of all kinds. We play blues-based rock, pop, soul, and jazz ~ Rhythm & Blues ~ known & obscure covers as well as obscure originals, with & without vocals. The music has an old school vibe like 1935-77 but the band's vibe is young & fresh. Some of our gigs pay decent money (weddings, events) and some of them don't (niteclubs). But they're all fun. You'll never do a gig with my band for just drinks, food, or exposure -- there's always money in your pocket. Gospel and church players welcomed and encouraged. Ability and inclination to step up as music director is a big plus. We rehearse regularly in Brooklyn. Rehearsal studio has keyboard and amp available.
