2022 Northwest Student Sport and Exercise Psychology Symposium (NWSSEPS), an AASP Annual Regional Conference The Kinesiology Department at Seattle University is excited to host the 2022 AASP PNW Regional Conference (NWSSEPS). This conference aims to foster personalized learning and interaction between students and prominent professionals in the field of sport and exercise psychology. The conference will include a pre-conference workshop on Friday, April 29, a Keynote Talk on Friday, April 29 and the full-day conference on Saturday April 30. Registration Deadline: Monday April 25, 2022 Pre Conference Workshop: Friday April 29, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm The pre-conference workshop is for any CMPC's who would like to obtain additional CEU's. The full pre-conference workshop program will be available soon! Professionals can buy tickets for just the pre-conference workshop if they would like. Keynote Talk: Friday April 29, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm We are pleased to announce that this year's keynote talk will be delivered by D'Anthony Smith, ED.D., LMHCA, CMPC, ACC. D'Anthony is a former Seattle Seahawk Superbowl 48 Champion who currently has his own mental performance consulting business, Unleash! where he helps athletes develop to their full potential. D'Anthony's keynote talk will be focused on the importance of emotional wellness in sport. This event is also open to the general public who can register for this event for no cost but are also encouraged to consider a small donation to the Kinesiology Department. The keynote talk will be followed by food, drink and networking opportunities. Full Day Conference: Saturday April 30, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm : The full day conference will include invited speakers, student research presentations, student research proposals, and student intervention presentations. CMPC's are also eligible to obtain CEU's for attending the conference. CMPC's can buy tickets for just the conference or they can purchase tickets for both the pre-conference workshop & the conference. Students can purchase tickets to the full day conference. All professional and student tickets for the full conference include Friday's keynote talk.
