Try 3 different raw oysters, learn about what makes them taste different plus how they pair with beer, wine & cocktails!
This event is for people who love oysters, want to learn a little more about oysters, enjoy quality spirits and what to hear how they can enhance your oyster experiences!
Start with a welcome coctkail, then:
You will recieve 4 Local Oysters (raw) , 4 Blue Points (raw), 4 Raspberry Points (raw), 2 Baked Oyster Rockafeller & 2 Baked Oyster Casino. Austin from Primary Search Fisheries will talk about all things oysters, specifically the 3 oysters featured and more. We will also go over shucking techniques and if you want to try, you can shuck your own oyster.
While you enjoy the oysters:
- RAR Brewing ambassador and friend Korey Bair will be here talking about RAR and how beer can pair with Oysters (included will be a 6 oz sample and an RAR giveaway).
-There will also be a wine expert Abby Coffren going over some brief wine and bubbles knowldege with some samples to pair with (and a wine opener to take home with you).
-Last we will go over the orignal recipe of the original Maryland cocktail, The Orange CRUSH and how great that is with oysters (so, yeah, there will be a mini crush involved!)
The main room at Black Eyed Suzies will be open at 5pm for you to find your seat and if you want to order some bites or drinks before we start at 6pm(it will be Happy Hour!) You don't need to be there early, just offering you the room if you want to get here early. There will be 4 courses and each course will have a little talking in between$5 of the ticket price will go towards gratuity for the servers and shuckers
