An Evening of Fun, Food & Awareness for Women We hope you can join us for the Salvation Army's Annual Garbage Bag Gala Fashion Show! Friday, May 20th, 2022, 6pm - 8pm. The all-inclusive admission fee of $20 will grant you entry, a door prize opportunity, a meal, fashion show, and a lovely time! Our goal is to have designers, design students, seamstresses and fashionistas create an outfit from recycled materials which must include a Salvation Army garbage bag typically used to distribute toys to children in our community. Models will walk down our red-carpet runway to showcase the design, allowing judges the opportunity to select 3 winners! We hope you can join us for this fun-filled evening for a good cause! This event is so important, because it creates community awareness and supports our Women’s Ministries, which aims to meet the needs of women of all ages, providing programming that encourages their full potential. We will also highlight the negative effects of waste, the importance of decreasing our carbon footprint and the benefits of recycling for our environment.
