The 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge in partnership with Ethics presents Sneaker Soiree: Kicks for a Cause The purpose of the 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge Sneaker Soiree is to support our 9 Senior Project Excel mentees as they continue the next chapter of their academic careers upon graduating from high school. Our 9 Senior mentees are planning to attend or considering a multitude of colleges such as Southern University, Louisiana State University, Loyola University, Grambling State University, Southeastern University and Avila University. The 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge serves as a catalyst to empower young African-Americans males to individually and collectively reach their full potential by maximizing the resources that foster and enhance achievement in education, economic and community development. One way in which we hope to achieve this is by supporting our mentees while they are in our program and as they progress to the next chapter of their lives.
