I’m not a breeder. And the puppy came from a friend (also not a breeder whose dog had puppies when they thought she was fixed). I adopted two puppies thinking they could keep each other company, not knowing about littermate syndrome. They are showing signs of this. It’s basically that you aren’t supposed to raise littermate a together. I didn’t know this when I got both of them. At this point we feel we have no choice but to find her a new home apart from her sister. She’s not quite potty trained yet. We’ve been working on it. We’ve had her for 6 weeks (since 6 weeks old) and she’s been a great puppy. I would love to keep her, but I’m worried the sibling rivalry will get worse. I would love to find someone that lives close to Edmonds to adopt her so eventual play dates could be arranged in the future. I’m asking for a rehiring fee of 450 to cover the expenses paid for her thus far (1st and second shots were 250, plus I paid 200 to her parents owner to help with vet costs for her mom). I’d really like to see her go to a loving home.
