Urban Indian Heritage Society American Indian organization originally founded to research, document and preserve the history and culture of Misclassified, disenfranchised American Indian lineal descendents who are victims of genocide, while being excluded from federally protected activities. UIHS also advocates for civic engagement, both Civil and Human rights and the curation, preservation and maintenance of ancestral lands, as well as the appropriate renaming of historical sites.
