Plants talk to us constantly and it's like kind of a big "dill". We just have to listen and maybe even get a little encourage "mint" from them. During class we will drink a tea or take a tincture to drop into a meditative space and speak with the plant spirit of the day. After the guided meditation, discussion on the meditation and the scientific discussion of the plant with stories, recipes and folklore will occur! Lastly, there will be recipes shared and a possible demo, or hands-on project using the plant of the day! Daisy Jones is an herbalist, foraging and plant identification educator, plant spirit Guru, Reiki Master, naturalist and certified classroom educator. She has spent the last 25 years in both traditional and nontraditional classroom settings. She has educated students of all ages about flora and fauna in numerous ecosystems around the US. She has also recently launched her new herbal beauty product line Daily Daisy Botanicals.
