Jazz Fusion Players

Hey, I'm a solid guitarist looking to jam with others that are interested in instrumental music based around jazz fusion and straight-ahead jazz. I really enjoy bands like Snarky Puppy, Tribal Tech, Return to Forever, Herbie Hancock, etc. As a guitarist, I try to go for sounds and playing style similar to Greg Howe, Mark Lettieri, Scott Henderson, etc. I also really like more traditional jazz artists like Pat Matheny, Coltrane, Wes Montgomery, etc. Lol, I'm not nearly as good as these players, but I do my best! I've been playing for ~20 years, and been playing in Austin with a band for ~10. I have a pro gear and a good attitude. I do have a day job, so this is more of casual thing, at least for now. I'm looking for a solid bassist and drummer more immediately, but would also welcome keys or a horn player. It would be cool to prepare 3-4 standards (jazz fusion or jazz), and then meet to jam in a casual setting at a place like Soundcheck. We can see where it goes from there. Ideas for songs for the first jam: watermelon man, cissy strut, actual proof, all the things you are, the gentle rain, autumn leaves I will gladly provide samples of my playing.
