Volunteer at Hermann Park Conservancy's Kite Festival! The beloved community festival returns and is happening on Sunday, March 27 from 10 am to 5 pm. The Kite Festival began as part of the centennial celebrations in 2014 and was so popular that it has become an annual family event. This year's festival is presented by Kirkland & Ellis LLP and will bring thousands of kite flyers to Hermann Park to enjoy a day of friendly kite-flying, featuring activities, entertainment, food, games, and more. Volunteers are needed to help during 4 shifts: 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM- Load In/Setup/Rail Road Safety8:00 AM to 11:00 AM- Wayfinding & Rail Road Safety11:00 AM to 2:00 PM- Wayfinding & Rail Road Safety2:00 PM to 6:00 PM- Wayfinding, Rail Road Safety, & Teardown/Load OutRegister for one of the available shifts and tasks as an individual or a group! PARKING Should you plan to drive to Hermann Park and need parking, please make sure to scroll all the way down after selecting your volunteer shift and register for the appropriate parking pass time. You will receive an email confirmation with the parking information and where to report. Please print the parking pass to show the parking lot attendant.
