India Chumney will speak of the Boys and Girls Clubs of SA impact in our community, upcoming programs and volunteer opportunities. Job Duties at Boys and Girls Clubs of San Antonio: India is responsible for all fundraising aspects of the Boys & Girls Clubs. She's the one that tries to cover all of the Directors’ needs to keep the programs relevant. Her department also supports volunteer projects and special events. She went to the University of Texas at Austin and is still a huge football fan even in a year when they did not do well. You will find her in her happy place at the game. She has a degree in Spanish/Latin American studies and a Minor in Anthropology. India has 34 years of fundraising experience, always working with underserved youth and their families. India has two children, William and Elizabeth. William has three boys, 10, 8, 5 that she steals as often as possible on the weekends. William is in the IT field, with VM Ware. Lizzy is a Principal Investigator for an Engineering firm in Austin. She has her Doctorate in Anthropology and has participated in many dig site throughout Europe. India has a stepson, Curtis that also lives in Austin and has 3 girls that warms her heart. India has a significant other, Ed that makes her life complete.
