Taking a close look at 20 of the finest buildings in New York City, An American Renaissance: Beaux-Arts Architecture in New York City has been painstakingly researched and beautifully photographed over many years. Author Phillip James Dodd discusses the importance and legacy of our clubhouse, its architect, and former resident Samuel Tilden—and collectively their relationship with the Metropolitan Museum, New York Public Library, and the famed Frick Collection. This is an in-person event. Your health and safety are our top priorities and we are following all CDC and New York City guidance. Proof of vaccination as well as a photo ID will be required. Masks are also required. RSVP does not guarantee entry. Doors open to the public 15 minutes before the event. Please arrive early to check in. Our coat check is limited. Please do not bring any large bags or backpacks.
