Project 510 USL League 2 | Open Tryout Registration Oakland Roots & Project 510 will be hosting open tryouts. A select number of players will be invited to participate in additional tryouts or training sessions, providing those players an opportunity to earn an amateur or professional contract with the club. No guests allowed, only trialists. Additional details will be emailed to participants once they have registered. DATES: Sunday, April 10th | 9 AM - 6 PM @ Roots Training Facility COVID-19: All players must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Please submit proof of vaccination upon arrival at the tryout via a vaccination card. On the day of the event, before entering the field, each participant must also complete a COVID-19 symptom check. FAQs: Are there minimum age requirements? Open to males ages 15 and over. What should I bring to the tryout? Players must come prepared with their own cleats, socks, gloves (goalkeepers), shin guards or any other equipment related to their position. Black shorts and white shirts are required. What do I need to check-in at the tryout? Please bring an ID (driver license, passport, etc.) plus confirmation of registration (email receipt, printed ticket, or mobile ticket). What if it rains? Tryouts will take place rain or shine. Does the club cover any tryout costs? Players are responsible for their own travel costs and transportation. As part of our commitment to making soccer accessible to the community we are offering a fee waiver for anyone expressing financial hardship or reason for needing a fee waiver/discount.
