STORYHILL is a modern folk duo that brings brotherly harmonies, infectious melodies and smart story songs together in one perfect package. “Their sound recalls the harmonious interplay of Simon & Garfunkel and the acoustic juice of the Indigo Girls.” - Billboard STORYHILL is a modern folk duo from Bozeman, Montana that brings brotherly harmonies, infectious melodies and smart story songs together in one perfect package. Their beautiful music and passionate performances have won them much critical acclaim and devoted fans (“Hill Heads”) all over the country. Celebrating over 30 years of playing together, members Chris Cunningham and John Hermanson breathe and play as one unit, showing why Billboard and the Austin Chronicle have likened them to the great songwriting duos of our time--Simon & Garfunkel, the Indigo Girls, The Everly Brothers and The Jayhawks’ Gary Louris & Mark Olson. They have charted on Billboard and have been favorites on national radio shows like Mountain Stage and A Prairie Home Companion. Not slowing down any time soon, Storyhill continues to produce their annual Storyhill Fest and several years ago released two new albums within a year – Where to Begin and their holiday album Bethlehem. They are currently working on a new album. Storyhill is thrilled to be joined by their friend, midwest singer-songwriter Chad Elliott, who blends folk roots, swampy blues and soulful writing to deliver an original Americana sound. His live performances have been honed over a decade of being on the road performing more than 200 shows each year. Elliott is lauded as “Iowa’s Renaissance man” by Culture Buzz Magazine. He has penned more than 1,500 songs in his career while also cultivating his skills as a painter, sculptor, illustrator and author (Wilderman’s Treetop Tales; Rumble & Flash). “That man’s music is as honest as was Woody Guthrie’s.” - Atesh Sonneborn, Smithsonian Folkways Recordings Doors open at 6:30, show at 7:30. All ages welcome! Ticket sales are final. General Admission Seating.
