An Appreciation for United States Veterans through a Live Jazz & Blues Aspect of The Historical Culture of the Brooklyn Ward of Charlotte NC The purpose of the "JAZZ ON VETS" is to strengthen the humanitarian spirit of service and appreciating Veterans with an enriched Jazz and Blues Musical Aspect of the Historical Legacy within the Brooklyn Ward #2 in Charlotte, N.C. The event will also stand as an invaluable and ongoing community resource that's based upon the Principle Values of Honor, Appreciation and Brotherhood. The event will provide valuable assistance to Veterans relating to VA Eligibility Resources and Services from both Local and State Veteran Agencies. There will also be an Awards Presentation of Honor and Recognition for (2) Veterans Medical Disability Claims Officers in lieu of helping Veterans to receive their Disability Compensation and Pension Claims. *Live Jazz and Blues Musical Performances - Living Proof Band *The Vocalist Phenom - Ms. Mia Mason *Spoken Word Alchemist - Ms. Gloria Clark *Live News Media Coverage The “JAZZ ON VETS” event is FREE Admission to Veterans and Public – Ages 21+ ALL PATRONS MUST REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT. We have the responsibility to provide adequate entertainment for all of our guests. You can register for (1) or both parts of the "JAZZ ON VETS" Event! 12p-3p: Veteran Eligibility Resources and Services 4p-7p: Awards Presentation and Live Jazz and Blues Musical Performances A portion of the charitable proceeds will go towards the funding of ongoing "Jazz On Vets" Events. A portion of the charitable proceeds will also go towards funding a Business Ownership & Grant Literacy Course Curriculum designed to create Women and Minority Business Ownership.
