Pediatrics in the Desert is a two-day Pediatric CME/CEU conference Pediatrics in the Desert is a CME/CEU conference with a twenty-one year history of sharing updates and advances in general and sub specialty pediatric care and fostering collaboration with Tucson's community of providers. This year we will be hosting a two-day conference featuring twelve speakers from diverse specialties and care delivery settings. Experts in rural and tribal health will share their experiences delivering comprehensive care throughout Arizona. We will explore legal issues and advocacy in pediatric care, and high-yield pediatric sub-specialty updates in Pediatric Endocrinology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, and Pediatric Pulmonology. Our colleagues across specialties will be sharing breakthroughs in Pediatric Plastic Surgery and Pediatric Medical Imaging. Attendance will cover two days of lectures (twelve hours total), continental breakfast and lunch, networking opportunities, and ability to sign up for a guided tour of the ASTEC Simulation Lab. We are awaiting approval for CME approval for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit
