This historic car is the first ever bought with bitcoin. It was purchased by Rassah, a famous Bitcoin developer, in 2013 for 1000BTC. In 2013 Rassah, a famous Bitcoin developer, became the first person ever to purchase a car with Bitcoin. He paid 1000BTC for the Toyota Prius. At today's bitcoin value, that makes it roughly a $45-million dollar prius!!  Rassah never regretted his pizza-like purchase, and intended to keep driving the million-dollar-prius forever.  Unfortunately, the car recently had a crash, and is no longer in driving condition. He was about to surrender the car to his insurance company, but we couldn't let such a historic item get scrapped.  We took the crashed car off his hands with the intention of auctioning it off during the Bitcoin2022 conference in Miami.  We want this historical artifact to go to someone who has the means to provide a proper forever home where it can be preserved for future generations.  A unique 1-of-1 commemorative NFT will be minted in the Bitcoin blockchain and presented to the auction winner as well. It's not just an auction...it's a PARTY too!! The auction will be hosted at the historic Esquina de Abuela venue in Miami.  This location is also the home of the first ever graffiti NFT, which was minted on the Bitcoin blockchain in 2019.  Besides the historic auction, we will be having a big party to celebrate how far the industry has come in such a short time.
