ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Starbucks in Romeoville is temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus, Jory Mendes from the company's media relations told Patch.
Located at 377 S. Weber Road, this is the only Starbucks location in the village. Mendes said that as soon as the store learned about the diagnosis, they activated their safety protocols and followed all recommended guidelines from public health authorities, including closing the store and initiating a deep clean.
Those who were in close contact with the employee have been self-isolating at home.
The store is set to reopen Wednesday, staffed with employees who were not in close contact with the infected person.
