The world premiere screening of LUDI from Bantufy Films featuring a red carpet, screening, community Q & A, reception, and performances. Edson Jean's directorial debut of LUDI accounts the 24 hours of a hardworking and exhausted nurse, who battles coworkers, clients and one impatient bus driver to learn her self worth as she chases the American Dream in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood. Launching March 30th, 2022 in cities across South Florida, The LUDI Film tour will launch multiple events to mend the lack of authentic representation of Haitan and Carribean communities around cinema. It is a movement to celebrate and reclaim ownership of our existence. Through the arts, we will empower communities with a keen focus on heritage and place.
