PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Six Flags America opens for the season Saturday. The Upper Marlboro park will be open weekends through Memorial Day then opens fully for daily operation April 9-18 for spring break, then return to weekends only, staying open on Memorial Day. Summer hours start June 3 with the park open daily. Six Flags America features 10 roller coasters, a few themed, two special sections for children, plus a variety of shows and attractions. Three summer festivals also are planned, including Viva La Fiesta featuring live entertainment and bold flavors during select weekends in May.
