Trying to learn guitar by watching YouTube?

Description

Trying to learn guitar from YouTube can be like trying to drink water from a firehose. There is so much material out there, it can be ridiculous sorting through it all. One teacher says "you must learn scales" and another guy says "don't learn scales". One instructor may spend 30 minutes showing you how to play a G chord, while another may toss around so much technical jargon that your head is spinning after five minutes. Even if you find material that seems about right for you, you can't ask questions or get real-time guidance, let alone inspiration. I'm a real life guitar teacher with more than 40 years of experience. I've taught hundreds of people to play; some have gone on to have successful careers in music, many more are simply enjoying playing guitar for themselves and friends. Whatever your musical goals are, I can help you reach them. I offer one-on-one, individual instruction from my home studio in Maitland for motivated people who are vaccinated. I also teach bass, songwriting, music theory and recording techniques. I offer weekly lessons at reasonable rates. My aim is to give you the knowledge and tools you need to play the music you love. Let me know if I can help you!
