Description

Press release from The University of Utah: March 16, 2022 The last two years of COVID-19 have been a rollercoaster of emotions for various communities working the frontlines in the healthcare, education, and service industries. As we grapple with finding a balance between learning how to live a normal life amidst COVID-19, it is important to document and remember the significance of this moment in history. Story telling is one of the many ways to make meaning out of overwhelming events like those of the past two years; listening to others tell stories invites reflection on individual and shared experiences. In an effort to bring us together in collective witness to some of these stories, the University of Utah's Health Resiliency Center, Center for Health Ethics, Arts and Humanities and Utah Presents invite you to join us at "Healthcare Stories" Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in Kingsbury Hall. This live performance will focus on the experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic told from six different perspectives in true stories, each about ten minutes long. We will audio-record this live event for limited listening at a later date but hope that many of you can join us in Kingsbury Hall, which is large enough that audience members can spread out comfortably and safely.
