Press release from the Village of Palatine: Groot will start collecting bagged or bundled yard waste as part of their regular garbage and recycling routes starting the week of April 4. Please note the following requirements for yard waste collection: Bagged Yard Waste: Bagged yard waste shall be placed in two-ply brown paper bags and shall not exceed 60 pounds.Bundled Yard Waste: Branches or limbs, 4 inches in diameter or less, may be bundled with biodegradable twine or rope.
