LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their later blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:
Burglary
DMJ Automotive, 603 S. La Grange Road, told police Friday that someone punched keyholes of two cars in an unsuccessful attempt to steal them. Identity theft
A resident in the 500 block of Seventh Avenue told police Jan. 11 that someone attempted to buy a laptop in the resident's name. No loss was reported. A resident in the 10 block of South Ashland Avenue told police Monday about receiving a letter denying a loan that the resident did not apply for. No loss was reported. Driving violations
Carlos Quezada, 40, of Chicago, was cited about 1 a.m. Saturday at La Grange Road and Harris Avenue on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured vehicle and improper lane usage. Jose Salmeron Cuautle, 49, of Chicago, was cited about 10:30 p.m. Monday at 47th Street and Madison Avenue on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured vehicle and littering on roadway. Joe Guy, 59, of Nashville, was cited about 1 a.m. Wednesday at La Grange Road and Hillgrove Avenue on charges of driving on a revoked license, operating an uninsured vehicle and no rear license plate light. David Caro, 22, of Brookfield, was cited about 10:30 a.m. Thursday at 47th Street and East Avenue on charges of driving on a revoked license, operating an uninsured vehicle, improper lane usage and improper turn at an intersection. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and people charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
