Plainfield Police Find Stray Cat, Pass On To Animal Control

PLAINFIELD, IL — Are you missing your cat? On Saturday, Jan. 25, the Plainfield Police reported via their Twitter page that a stray black cat had been found without a chip or collar. They have since passed the stray onto Will County Animal Control. The cat was found Wednesday, Jan. 22, on Capista Drive, across the DuPage River from Eaton Preserve Park. Police were unsure if the cat was male of female, and it had no visible identification. If the cat is yours or you would like to claim it, please visit the Will County Animal Control at 1200 S.
